My name is Ziliang Zhao. I am now a third-year Ph.D. student at the Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence, Renmin University of China. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Zhicheng Dou and Prof. Ji-Rong Wen. I am also a Research Fellow at Waseda University in Japan supervised by Prof. Sakai Tetsuya. Previously, I received Bachelor degree from Shandong University in 2020 and Master degree from Renmin University of China in 2023.
My research topics is mainly about LLM context. Before, my research centers on user intent understanding, conversational search, and clarification, spanning both web search and user-LLM interactions. I also conduct fundamental IR research, covering areas like retrieval, ranking, and RAG. Most recently, my work has focused on RL-driven LLMs for reliable information seeking.
